BMS Description
Due to lithium batteries’ high volumetric and energy density, along with single-cell voltages up to 4.2V, they have been widely adopted in portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, and digital cameras. To ensure operational safety, lithium battery applications must include battery management circuits to prevent overcharging, over-discharging, overheating, and overcurrent conditions.
